The First Post

I haven’t been writing much lately, and even though ideas are piling up in my head, putting these ideas into action seem to require a little more effort than usual. I end up not doing anything. Which means I get more ideas piled up and less things done and that gets me even more frustrated, and… you know the drill. It’s a vicious cycle. So here I am putting an end to it, conquering the fear of the blank canvas with a first post in yet another blog.

A blog that I deem a necessary addition to my line-up of “specialized” blogs. Although, come to think of it, most of them are in the idea phase and not yet open for public, so this blog is more or less going to be Current Blog #2. Current Blog #1, aka the travel blog, aka Eat. Sleep. See. Do. is on a prolonged hiatus though, but hopefully I will be able to update soon.

Well, what is Current Blog #2 then? The simple answer to that is this: Journey is a blog to chronicle my spiritual journey. I know, I got very creative in naming the blog *wink*. In a way, it’s my way of “marrying” my love for theology with my love for technology, namely the internet, blogging, and social media. A “marriage” that is becoming more and more necessary, an idea that has been sitting in the corners of my mind for way too long.

And what better time to start a blog called Journey then just in time for Lent, the period where we are encouraged to pause, think, and reflect our journey of faith as we journey with Jesus towards Easter?

I suppose this blog then, is what I am taking up this Lent. I’m praying that I’ll be able to post daily (or every other day at least), and have proper pages, categories, etc. before the end of Lent.
